If any member wants to post any news on the website, please get in touch with Sue (07876 777444) and she will add it on for you.
We had 25 vans at Barnstones for our first T/C of the season, which we had a full house. We had visitors from Avon, East Mids, Essex, Yorkshire and Essex as well as our own members from Nene Valley. The sun shone the whole time although it was a bit fresh in the breeze.
It was a 5 night meet and most of the vans arrived on Thursday while the rest came when able to. We sat outside Friday & had a coffee morning in a larger than normal circle to chat about the usual stuff, after not seeing our friends for such a long time.
Some members hung their flags out to celebrate St. George’s day. We had organized a fish & chip supper Friday night for which most people took up the offer, (very nice large portions & hot) not many of us finished the supper but the dogs ate well.
Saturday morning and some went for the bus & others walked into Banbury along the canal. Oh to be fit !
Sunday morning we had another coffee morning – Tony gave his talk & told us that we had members from 6 different groups which was fantastic for us being the smallest club in the MCC. We also had the result of Jane’s Lucky Dip which was was won by Mary-Ellen No.20 from Essex group. Congratulations.
The Bell PH was open in the village over the weekend for drinks & food.
I think a good time was had by all & everybody was glad to be back out in their vans again..
OUR NEXT T/C IS AT CARDINGTON BEDFORDSHIRE, HAVE A LOOK ON OUR WEB SITE FOR

Yet another date to add to your diary from our very hard working Rally Officer – 1st – 4th July at Grenadier Lodge, Nuneaton. This was one that we should have been able to go to last year, but Denis has managed to book it for us this year. All details on our Forthcoming Temporary Campsite page.
Our Rally Officer has worked so very hard to get us lots of meets this year but we desperately need Stewards – without Stewards we will have to cancel the meets and all Denis’s hard work will have been for nothing. Please contact a member of the Committee and sign up for stewarding.
